Here are some of the top of my head, nat campbell age 25, tiger flowers age 23, dwight braxton age 25, anthony mudine age 25, i will try and think of some more i will need more time

Well, Hopkins had his amateur career behind bars, lost on his pro debut and took like 18 months off or something before he came back. Amateur background or not he still only STARTED in the pro ranks in like his mid-20's.
Think what people like Tyson, Trinidad, DLH etc had done by that age.
Tarver, while having a longer amateur career indeed, again, was still starting in the pro ranks when he wasnt far off 30. If you think about it in terms of how long you still have your youth, he had his best years behind him and started his career when most people were about 2/3rds through theirs.

i think im one of the few people who think anything under 25 is pretty early to start boxing. it just depends on their background/condition
