Should I comment on this and risk someone's wrath?

lol, i'll bite go on!
Not been called junior for a while either
ok, my question always re Bruno:
Name me one fighter he knocked out who was there to win i.e. not just an opponent or name?
One fighter whose career was on the way up and not the way down?

John Emmen!.... No, there isn't any.. Unfortunately Frank's career was ruined by Terry Lawless, who wrapped all of his fighters in cotton wool and was generally regarded as a crap manager on the world scene.. It took a long time for Frank to realize this..
Bruno wasn't even allowed to fight for the British title as Lawless deemed the likes of Gary Mason and Horace Notice, far too risky..
Sadly, he was made to fight a succession of burnt out C class fighters instead, most of whom were KTFO in under 4 rounds.. Yes, Lawless paid good money to fly the likes of Scott Le Deoux, Walter Santimore, Chuck Gardner, Barry Funches etc to the UK instead.
Once Lawless felt Bruno was ready, he upped the anti considerably, by flying over Jumbo Cummings, who had just drawn with an ancient Joe Frazier, and then, a real risky one! A shot Gerrie Coetzee who was brutally KO'd in the 1st..
Yes.. Lawless was indeed , one soppy old ****, wasn't he?
Now, here's the bit where everyone spits the dummy..
Bruno's punch was every bit as hard as Foreman, Shavers, Tyson, Liston, Williams etc, but only from a standing position against an opponent that was too slow to duck, because that was all he had ever trained for.. Had Manny Steward or Angelo Dundee got hold of him, he'd be right up there with Foreman and Shavers on all the lists!

same can be said of the other British/Canadian heavyweight champion.
Bruno had a hell of a rap when it landed but he lacked `speed`of punch .. IMO he never hit as hard as Foreman, Tyson, Lyle, Williams, Frazier or Shavers but i really enjoyed his career..
Frank attended a funeral in my town around 2yrs ago for a local drug-dealer who was killed in an accident, Frank did not look good, he seems to be weighing around 195-200lbs he is grey and heavily into the dope

I don't think Bruno's team would have let him within a mile of Ruddock in a non title fight to be honest. That's a shame to hear he isn't doing well he is a nice guy.
I always perceived Bruno to be a heavy handed guy but not the type of one punch puncher that Foreman and Shavers were.
Didn't I see Bruno on one of those Sky Sports Friday Fight Night shows a little while back? Looked in pretty good shape there to me, I know he's been through some bad times though.

Think Mickey has it right bring a guy over who is all but laying on a meat hook and Frank looks like George Foreman. if he hits back Frank becomes Duane Bobick. he might have become a better fighter had a Steward got hold of him but I doubt he would have got 4 title shots.
