The Dubois loss will affect his place in history but not too much. He sits in between the all time greats and the champs who won the title or a portion of the title. He has done good wins against solid fighters but also the Ruiz and Dubois losses. All time heavy he’s probably in the 18-30 area. I mean he’s better than tubbs, page, Thomas, hide, bent, Morrison, Douglas etc. he’s no one hit wonder, but he’s well away from the top guys. He’s the 3rd best of his era I’d say behind usyk and fury. His record is still better than wilders.

What's your point? By your standards Dempsey was never a heavyweight. He also fought many guys under 190lbs which you want to penalize Holyfield fighting the Cruiser limit there, but don't want to make Dempsey a Cruiserweight should the IBRO recognize that weight class.
