EC Boxing staged a big show in Goeppingen (Germany) and had an almost full house at the EWS Arena. On top veteran cruiser Firat Arslan (38-8-2) and local man kept his career alive with a unanimous decision over Nuri Seferi (36-8) from Kosovo by way of Switzerland.

It was a close, tense fight where Arslan grabbed an early lead with Seferi coming on strong in the later rounds but it wasn´t enough as Arslan won on scores of 118-111, 115-113 and 115-113.

Light heavyweight Karo Murat (30-3-1) won the vacant WBA International title with a stoppage at 2.46 of the 12th and final round against hard punching Ukrainan Yevgeni Makhteienko (8-5).

Makhteienko, trailing on points and down in the third, attacked but was a spent force when Murat traded with him and hurt him. There was first a standing eight count and it was then stopped with Yevgeni out on his feet.

Heavyweight Manuel Charr (30-4) looked a bit soft but won the WBA Int´l title with a ten round unanimous decision over Sefer Seferi. It was scored 97-92, 98-91 and 96-93.

Cuban heavyweight Odlanier Solis (22-3) beat Aleksander Todorovic, 8-10-1, based in Sweden but from Serbia, in a ten rounder and while some of the excess weight is off Solis still seems like a faded force.

In Seinajoki (Finland) local hero Juho Haapoja (27-7-2) beat hardpunching Hungarian Tamas Lodi (18-8-2)on a unanimous decision in a ten rounder. Haapoja, now back to cruiser after a stint at light heavy (and before that at heavyweight), was knocked out by Lodi last time out but this time had CJ Hussein working his corner and found his boxing again and was a clear winner on scores of 98-95, 98-94 and 96-94.

Hungarian cruiser Imre Szello (14-0) won the WBO Intercontinental title on scores of 100-89, 99-90 and 97-92 over Brazilian Hamilton Ventura (15-3-1) in the headliner of Felix-Promotion´s show at the Varpalota Castle.

In the co-feature light heavy Richard Baranyi (17-1) outscored Georgian Giorgi Beroshvli over ten in a fight for the WBO Euro title.

WBO # 1 light heavy Dominic Boesel (23-0) retained the WBO I/C and the WBA Continental title with twelve round unanimous decision over Frenchman Tony Averlant (24-9-2).  It was scored 117-111, 118-111 and 116-112 on this SES promotion in Weissenfels (Germany).

Super lightweight Felix Lamm (13-1-1) beat Belgian Andrea Carbonello (13-2-1) on a close, split decision over ten rounds with the WBO Euro title at stake.
