A new date for the fight between Russian super middleweight Fedor Chudinov and battle tested Isaac Chilemba will be determined after the improvement of the ongoing pandemic with the coronavirus. This was reported to TASS from the Russian boxer's team.

The fight between Chudinov and Chilemba was scheduled to be held on March 21 in Vladikavkaz, but it was postponed when the situation with the coronavirus began to get worse all over the world.

"The new date will be determined after the improvement of the situation with coronavirus," the source said.

The Russian boxer has a record of 22 wins (15 by KO), and two losses. Chudinov also held his last battle in Vladikavkaz, when he won a dominant twelve round decision over former WBA "regular" middleweight champion Hassan N'Dam N'Zhikama of France in December 2019.

Chudinov owned the WBA "regular" super middleweight world championship in 2015-2016, and defended it once with a victory over Frank Buglioni before losing the belt with a close decision to Felix Sturm in a rematch.

Chilemba, for his part, picked up 26 victories (10 by knockout), suffered seven defeats, and also on his ledger are two draws. Chilemba suffered defeats to some of the top fighters during his time like Sergey Kovalev, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Tony Bellew, Eleider Alvarez.
