Camille Estephan of Eye of The Tiger Promotions and Cameron and Joe Dunkin of D&D Boxing have officially announced that they will be joining forces.
"We've been talking for a while and have struck a deal," Estephan said. "Cameron is a knowledgeable guy, he has some terrific talent and one of the best eyes in spotting talent. We also have a lot of good fighters and excellent infrastructure. It's a great fit."
Dunkin, who is well known for working with amongst others Kelly Pavlik, Terence Crawford, Nonito Donaire and currently promotes two of the hottest fighters in boxing, Jaron Ennis and Brandun Lee, is equally enthused about teaming up with Estephan.
"I'm really excited about working with Camille," said Dunkin. "He's a great guy, very positive and has a great attitude. We complement each other really well."
Bringing both rosters together will undoubtedly strengthen both companies.
"We have a really good stable already," said Estephan, who's stable includes Arslanbek Makhmudov, David Lemieux and Christian Mbilli, among others. "But Cameron and I are looking for more talent. We feel we can take things to another level."
Eye of the Tiger and D&D Boxing have signed a talented trio of young fighters, Samuel Arnold, a power-punching welterweight and Angel and Antonio Perez. The Perez twins both recently fought at the US national championships in in Shreveport, Louisiana. Angel will fight at junior welterweight, while Antonio will be at lightweight.
"We are happy to sign Samuel Arnold and the Perez twins," Estephan said. "Cameron recommended them to us and we are more than happy to co-promote them with him. We believe all three have world title potential and are extremely excited to begin work with them."
