Former WBC light-middleweight champion Mikaela Lauren (33-7) recorded a defeat by Czech journeywoman Ester Konecna (6-29-2) in the headliner of a professional-amateur show held in the tourist town of Benidorm, Spain.
Konecna, who regardless is considerably better than her record indicates, won via scores of 80-72 on all three cards and will likely have signalled the end of the comeback for the 48-year old Lauren.

France’s Khalil El Hadri (19-2) won the European super-featherweight title with a unanimous decision over the defending champion Juanfe Gomez (13-1-1) in Lagny-sur-Mer (France).
The scores twice read 117-111, and once 115-114 – all in favor of El Hadri.

Former cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (43-5-1), in 2024 campaigning as a heavyweight, began yet another comeback at the Estrel Convention Center in Berlin, and outscored Evginios Lazarides (19-6) over 10 rounds. Huck failed to impress, but said that he had fought with a broken bone in his right hand. All three scorecards read 97-93 in his favour.
In the co-feature “Tommy Punch”, Tahir Kahrovic, recorded a points win over Serbia’s Miljan Djordjevic (16-1), via scores of 99-91, 97-93 and 100-90. His record improves to 22-0.
