Maki Boxing of Finland won the purse bids held in Rome today for the fight between Edis Tatli (32-3) and Gianluca Cegli (16-3-1) for the vacant EBU lightweight title with a bid for 42,001 Euro. Italian Buccione Boxing Team came in second best with a bid for 38,500 Euro.
Tatli-Ceglia is tentatively set for June 19 in Finland.
As BoxingScene has reported several times this fight has been on - and off - a number of times by now but postponed due to Covid-19 and Tatli's shoulder problems.
Knockout Promotions in Poland headed by Andrew Wasilewski stage a big show May 8. Headlining is a bridgerweight clash between Artur Szpilka (24-4) and Lukasz Rozanski (13-0) with a WBC sub-title at stake.
Also on the bill is cruiser Mateusz Masternak (43-5).

EU heavyweight champ Tony Yoka (10-0) has a new official challenger and that is Belgian Herve Hubeaux (32-3). The EBU has set a period for private negotiations before calling for purse bids.

Spanish super welter Kerman Lejarraga (31-2) has a new co-challenger for the vacant EU title and that is French champ Howard Cospolite (19-8-3).
The fight is scheduled for a date in June with Bilbao as the site. The winner has Isaac Real as mandatory challenger.

EBU middleweight title holder Matteo Signani (30-5-3) takes on mandatory challenger Ruben Diaz (26-2-2) on June 18 on a Matchroom / OPI since 82 / DAZN show in Italy with site to be announced.
