Heavyweights Erkan Teper (17-2) and Evginios Lazarides clash in the headliner of a show billed as "King of Absolute Fighting" on October 21 in Goeppingen (Germany).
Teper, the former EBU champ, lost to Christian Hammer and Mariusz Wach recently and needs a good win badly to resurrect his career.
Lazarides´ boxrec record is 11-0 but he´s also participated in the Bigger is Better shows and have I believe there are six wins and a loss (the loss was outside of the tournament) missing.
First Lady Promotions´ show on Saturday (Oct 21) at the Oslofjord Convention Center headlined by the First Lady herself in Cecilia Braekhus defending her five titles against Mikaela Lauren is not doing well in ticket sales reports media in Norway.
Of the six undercard fights, three are off, as the very strict Norwegian rules on doping and medical certificates make it more or less impossible to bring in late substitutes.
Braekhus vs Lauren goes out live on PPV on Viasat in Sweden and Norway. And while Lauren did kiss Braekhus at a press meeting and does well in trash talking it appears doubtful that it will generate much sales.
Lauren, brave and tough as she is, was outclassed by Braekhus the first time they fought and lost to Klara Svensson, who in turn was a clear loser to Braekhus.
It´s also noteworthy that on the very same night in Norway - but in Skien - Melhus Promotion stage their inaugural show topped by a fight for the vacant EBU female super featherweight title between Katarina Thanderz and Maria Semertzoglu.
On the undercard, former First Lady Promotion fighter Kevin Melhus, 2-0, takes on Pole Dariusz Skop, 6-2. This is the first show in over 50 years sanctioned by a Norwegian Federation (Braekhus & Co use the German BDB).
