EC Boxing have in a press release confirmed that the fight between IBF International heavyweight champion Adrian Granat (14-0) and Bogdan Dinu (16-0) is on for March 18 at the Baltic Hall in Malmoe (Sweden).
Newly crowned Swedish light heavy king Sven Fornling (11-1), who like Granat hails from Malmoe, is of course also on the bill and may makes a defence of the title he won against Naim Terbunja. Finding a suitable challenger might be tricky though but there is one fighter that fits the bill and that is Oscar Ahlin. No deal yet though.
Former EBU light heavyweight champ Igor Michalkin returns after a year long layoff.
EC Boxing have also announced a show for Hamburg March 25 where WBO Euro king Christian Hammer will make the first defence of the title he won by beating Erkan Teper. On this bill is also light heavyweight Karo Murat and cruiserweight Mario Daser.
Yesterday was the final day for agreements for EBU light heavy champ Robert Stieglitz´s mandatory defence against Swede Erik Skoglund but the EBU won´t call for purse bids just yet. SES, representing Stieglitz and Sauerland, representing Skoglund, are reportedly still in negotiations..

It´s been a long, long time since there was so much activity booked for the Nordic countries for the near future - one must go back around 15 years to find anything similar. Here´s how it looks:
Jan 14: Badou Jack (Sweden) vs James DeGale in New York City in a WBC - IBF unification fight.
Jan 21: Nordic Fight Night in Struer (Denmark) topped by Patrick Nielsen and Dina Thorslund.
Jan 28: Cecilia Braekhus vs Klara Svensson in Oslo (Norway) and a Caramelito Promotion show in Vasa (Finland) the same night.
Feb 25: Orebro (Sweden): Fight Life show topped heavyweight Pezhman Seifkhani (5-0).
March 11: Haninge (Sweden): Rising Stars show topped by superwelter Mohammed Saleh.
March 18: EC Boxing in Malmoe (Sweden): Adrian Granat vs Bogdan Dinu
Also booked for a yet to be announced show in Denmark in March is a defence by EBU featherweight Dennis Ceylan against Isaac Lowe.
In Finland heavyweight Robert Helenius is looking into offers for a fight in March.
Robert Stieglitz vs Erik Skoglund should if the parties involved find an agreement go ahead in February or March in Sweden or Germany
Super Brian Nielsen and Mogens Palle Promotion have not yet announced any dates but have a big stable for their Danish Fight Night program.
EBU lightweight champ Edis Tatli is near a world title fight.
