Swiss cruiserweight Benoit Huber (8-2) is the new opponent for Danish heavyweight Kem Ljungqvist (13-0) on September 16 in Nykobing Falster (Denmark). Huber steps in for South African Chris Thompson, who got injured in training.

At stake is the vacant WBC International bridgerweight title so Huber has to put on weight while Lungqvist loses some.

As previously reported by BoxingScene, German light heavyweight Leon Bunn (18-0) headlines Wasserman Boxing's show in Frankfurt / Main October 1.

It's now been announced that Bunn will take on French champ Daniel Blenda dos Santos (20-1) with the vacant IBO title at stake.

The postponed fight for the WBC Bridgerweight title between champ Oscar Rivas (28-1) and challenger Lukasz Rozanski (14-0) is now officially rescheduled for October 15 but remains in Colombia, reports bokser.org.

Former amateur star Luka Plantic, 2-0 as a pro, is in tough tomorrow night (Sep 1) in Solin, Croatia, when he takes on South African veteran Ryan Liebenberg (22-9-1). The fight is scheduled for eight and that might help Plantic.
