Just for the record: Marvin Petit knocked out Samir Kasmi in the seventh round Saturday night in Levallois, won the fight fair and square and was declared the WBA Continental champ.

It was after the fight had ended, that people began to throw chairs at each other and a riot broke out.

Why the fight is still listed as a "no contest" is a difficult question - but the fact is it is still listed as a no contest at ffboxe.fr - the official site of the French Federation but it should be KO 7 for Petit.

French jr welter Franck Petitjean, 20-4-3, who retained the EU title on the same bill as Petit-Kasmi, with a close points win over Andre Scarpa is now official challenger for EBU champ Antony Yigit.

The EBU have set February 26 as deadline for purse bids or agreements. Yigit may however have other plans and is according to the IBF to fight a final eliminator against Ivan Baranchuk on March 9 in Miami, Oklahoma.

German middleweights Patrick Wojcicki, 10-0-1, and Ronny Mittag, 30-2-2, square off for the vacant IBF Intercontintal title on March 17 at the Swiss Life Hall in Hannover. Cruiserweight Arthur Mann and middleweight Besir Ay, both from Hannover, are featured on the undercard of this Sauerland Event promotion.

Super middleweight Robin Krasiniqi, 45-5, returns to action after almost a year out on March 3 in Halle / Saale and take on tough Polish journeyman Bartlomiej Grafka, 20-27-3.

Krasniqi lost to Arthur Abraham last time out in a WBO eliminator.  Heavyweight Tom Schwarz takes on SamirNebo in the headliner of this SES promotion.
