Super middleweights Osleys Iglesias (7-0) and Andriy Velikovsky (21-2-2) meet for the vacant IBO title on Friday (Dec 9) in the headliner of Polsat Boxing Promotions show in Gliwice (Poland).
Iglesias hails from Cuba and was an excellent amateur but always second best to Olympic Gold Medal winner Arlen Lopez. As a pro he has been moved fast and is a firm favorite to beat Velikovsky, who hails from Ukraine but has been based in Germany for the last few years and is not a man to be underestimated.

It's been an open secret for a few weeks now but today it became official: Enock Poulsen's defense of the EBU super lightweight title against Franck Petitjean that was set for December 17 in Creteil (France) is postponed.
No new date has been announced yet but word is that the fight will go ahead on February 4, still in Creteil.

Heavyweights Jack Mulowayi (13-3-1) and Granit Shala (13-0) clash February 25 in Berlin with the vacant EU title at stake.
Muloway's claim to fame is still the upset win over Apti Davtaev in 2021 but was earlier this year stopped by Bakhodir Jalolov. He's since won two straight.
Shala is a bit untested but shows good hand speed and timing but with only three early endings in13 fights he is obviously not a puncher.

When Swedish light heavy Hampus Henriksson, at the time a well regarded prospect, turned pro back in 2015 he fought on the big Sauerland shows in Sweden and signed with Jimmy Montoya as manager.
However, when Sauerland left Scandinavia Hampus was left stranded and no fights materialized. After three years off he returned in 2020 fighting twice in Germany on Universum shows.
This coming weekend Hampus, 5-0-1 in the pros, is back in the amateurs and enters the Swedish championships.
