Former WBA, WBC; WBO, IBF and IBO female welterweight champ Cecilia Braekhus (36-2 and 40-years-old in September) vows to continue her career.
Interviewed by her main sponsor, betting company Betsson, the 'First Lady' says she will continue to box as long as she feels it's fun.
Braekhus is now a freelancer with no promoter or TV deal. As for the future of who will be her head trainer, Cecilia reveals that Abel Sanchez most likely won't continue as her coach.
The new trainer might instead become Billy White, who lately had been working with Mike Tyson.
Braekhus has lost back to back decisions to Jessica McCaskill. Their rematch took place last month, with McCaskill winning a unanimous decision after winning a majority decision in the first encounter last August.

The cruiserweight clash between Alexander Kage and Janne Forsman set for May 1 in Gersthofen is off. As to why, well, it appears that Kage got cold feet and cancelled Forsman's booking. Kage will now instead face an opponent from the Georgian Republic.
