Promotional company Fresh Productions presented the car 'Night of Prospects IV' from the Parque Concepción Pérez Alberto de Fajardo in Puerto Rico.

In the main event, world ranked Emmanuel 'Manny' Rodriguez (16-0, 11 KOs) of Vega Baja picked up a first round knockout over Chilean Robinson Laviñanza (11-4-1, 4 KOs) in what was scheduled to be a ten round bout.

Laviñanza, who had never been knocked out in his career, visited the canvas three times before the fight was stopped.

The fight was taken on late notice, as Rodriguez was originally scheduled to face former champion Omar Narvaez of Argentina in a final IBF world title eliminator at 118-pounds.

But Narvaez never arrived to Puerto Rico a few days ago to take part in the pre-fight promotion. Rodriguez's handlers quickly got him a new opponent.

Rodriguez, who is advised by Al Haymon, will now wait for a new opponent for the title eliminator, where the winner will become the mandatory challenger to the International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion at 118 pounds, Lee Haskins.

"I have not fought since June but I felt tremendous and strong," said Rodriguez.

"My hands were fast, I felt quick on the legs... I really did. My corner did a great job of preparing me for the fight because I felt like a new fighter and I had not been fighting since June. I was ready to fight with Narvaez, who was a world champion of two divisions - but I think right now he is dedicated to being a magician because he is very good when he does his trick of disappearing."

Also on the card, London 2012 Olympian Jantony Ortiz (7-0, 4 KOs) looked impressive by knocking out Bayron's Jayron Santiago (5-5, 3 KO) in the first round.
