Welterweight prospect Ed Brown was by far the busiest prospect in all of boxing last year, having secured 13 victories in 2015 - all after the month of May. He now stands at 16-0 (14 KO's) - and the plan is to keep him on this torrid pace.
According to manager Cameron Dunkin, he will be fighting in Detroit next weekend on a card that is being promoted by Dmitry Salita. Dunkin has already outlined a plan to groom the fighter and ensure he's ready for a notable matchup.
"He had some soreness so he had to rest, so we gave him a little time off and now we've got him scheduled for Saturday,"the manager told krikya360.com."Then we're going to start again, full blast. I want to get four, five good wins in him and then look for a signature fight for him."
Brown, 24-years-old, is not wasting any time. He turned pro in December of 2012 and then had two fights in 2013. After nearly two years of activity, he came out guns blazing last year. He was last in the ring on December 12th in Indiana, where he stopped Rynell Griffin in two rounds.
