York Hall, London - Cruiserweight contender Dmytro Kucher (24-1, 18 KOs) destroyed former WBO world champion Enzo Maccarinelli (41-8, 33 KOs) in the first round to capture the vacant European cruiserweight title. Kucher stunned Maccarinelli with a left hook and then battered him down with a series of big punches.
Maccarinelli was barely able to rise with his legs not under him and the fight was waved off.
This was Maccarinelli's first fight since scoring a scary fourth round knockout over former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. last December in Moscow, Russia.
Another impressive performance from 175lb wrecking machine Yarde who looks like he could become a star. Semik was bludgeoned in the first and stopped in the second after a succession of brutal hooks and uppercuts.
Tom Baker TKO5 Bartlomiej Grafka (8x3) light-heavyweight
Baker moves to 14-0 after a classy display stopped at the start of the fifth round on the advice of the doctor. Grafka's right eye is swollen almost shut.
Baker represented Repton gym as an amateur and is very well schooled. A sharp uppercut followed by a gentle nudge floored the Pole in the opener.
Baker looks the part and his good work continued with sharp left uppercuts, straight rights and a ramrod jab throughout. His balance too, is excellent. This kid is going places.
Vladimir Idranyi TKO6 Charlie Duffield (6x3) light-heavyweight
Popular Duffield, now 3-1, loses unbeaten record, stopped at 1.58 last round of barnburner on doctors advice. By the sixth Duffield's face a mess with swellings around both eyes and a deep cut underneath his left eye.
Slovakian Idranyi hurts Duffield from the outset, almost stopping him with a brutal right hook in the first before somehow losing his own mouthpiece on the canvas, giving Charlie precious seconds to recover.
Duffield was game throughout and had his moments but appeared outworked as the visitor landed the more significant punches.
Leon Woodstock W6 Reynaldo Mora 6x3 lightweight
Woodstock moves to 7-0 with hard fought six round decision over a very tough and spirited Mora.
Several times Woodstock landed wicked left hooks and Mora barely moved.
Crowd enjoyed the contest, applauding both boxers at the end of a sporting bout.
Danny Carr v Andy Harris (4x3 lightweight)
Popular Sidcup fighter Carr, now 5-0, beats courageous Harris on points in a well contested four rounder. 40-37.
Ryan Garner TKO4 Ricky Leach
Debutant Garner shows very impressive variety on debut as he stops Leach in the last of scheduled four. Registers first round knockdown from body shot. Wicket body shots continue and after sustained assault to head and body in fourth contest is stopped.
Reid KO2 Slevev
Super- bantam Lucien Reid beats outclasses Trayan Slavev at 2.36 of 2nd round with combinations to body and head. Slavev not seriously hurt despite bloody nose and complains at end. Good stoppage as Slavev being overwhelmed.
