Universum and DIMA Sportscente join forces on Saturday afternoon and evening for an eleven-fight mega show - at least based on the quantity. The event kicks off at 4.30 PM and hidden on the undercard is former WBA I/C heavyweight champ Taras Bidenko, who face Latvian journeyman Pavels Dolgovs in a four-rounder. The Universum part of the bill is expected to begin at 6.15 PM with featherweight Marcel Meyerdicks fighting Mikheil Avakian. bild.de begins the telecast at 7.30 with female featherweight Ina Menzer coming back against Ela Nunez. At 9 PM Sport 1 takes over and televise the mainbouts featuring Rahkiem Chakhiev vs Michael Simms, Juan Carlos Gomez vs Darnell Wilson and Alexander Dimitrenko defending the EBU heavyweight crown against Michael Sprott.

 

EC Box Promotion returns to Cuxhaven on November 18 with cruiser Alexander Alexeev facing South African Daniel Bruwer in the main event with the vacant WBC Int´l title at stake. Alexeev was to have headlined the last EC show in Cuxhaven as well but fell ill and was forced to pull out. Also on the bill are heavyweights Michael Wallisch, Christian Hammer and Manuel Charr as well as Swedish female welterweight Klara Svensson.

 

SES has cancelled the show in Brno, Czech Republic, which was scheduled for September 30  - after the main event between Sergey Dzinziruk and Lukas Konecny fell through when Dzinziruk pulled out with an injury. Konecny still holds the EBU jr middleweight title and has a dangerous mandatory challenger in Siarhei Rabchenka.

 

The undercard to Mikkel Kessler vs. Robert Stieglitz on November 5 in Copenhagen will feature female champs Cecilia Braekhus and Ramona Kuehne as well as the Nielsen brothers, Patrick and Micki.

 

Spanish veteran Rafael Lozano is out of the fight against Giuseppe Lagana on October 7 in Cagliari. The vacant EU flyweight title was to be at stake.
