Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear - BBBofC British cruiserweight champion Jon Lewis Dickinson (14-2, 3 KOs) continued the revival of his career by defending his domestic belt for the second time against determined challenger Mike Stafford (11-2, 2 KOs) over twelve dreadful rounds of non-action.

Stafford got off to a very good start in the opening rounds but soon ran out of gas. Unlike him, Dickinson was always charged and pumped up. However, his lack of boxing skills and Stafford's inability to match them with his physical shape, resulted in a very tedious, boring and foul-filled main event. Both combatants held often and enaged in some other foul play, but Dickinson was also the only one to deliver any telling blows in the second half of the contest. Stafford's sudden uppercuts and showboating didn't help him much at the end, when the judge's scores were tallied. They read as folows: 118-112, 117-112 and 115-113 - all in favor of Jon Lewis Dickinson.

2013 Prizefighter welterweight champion Glenn Foot (11-0, 6 KOs) continued his way up in ranks with the biggest win of his young career. Foot, 25, looked dominant over famed Welsh veteran Jason Cook (29-5-1, 15 KOs), stopping him in the seventh round of scheduled eight. Foot landed several very telling series of unanswered blows before a merciful stoppage was issued about twenty seconds after the start of the onslaught.
