krikya360.com caught up with Devon Alexander shortly after his dominant unanimous decision victory over Jesus Soto Karass on Saturday night in Carson, Calif. The fight was part of a triple header that was televised by Showtime.

The former two division champion said that he was pleased with the way he fought but said that there is always room for improvement.

"I thought is was a good performance but like I said before, I'm my own worst critic and I could have done better. Like getting hit less and sitting down on my punches more. All in all it was good," said Alexander.

Alexander usually likes to box and move and when the fight is on the inside, he sometimes likes to clinch to keep his opponent from getting shots off.

Against Soto Karass he used a completely different strategy. He was content to sit in the pocket and let his hands go.

Some of his critics have complained that his fights aren't always the most exciting and Alexander said that he wanted to show that he is a complete fighter and that he can win a fight using more than just one style.

"That was the plan. I wanted to mix it up and show people that I can be versatile. I'm not by any means done or where I want to be. I want to become one of the greatest and that's what I plan to do," Alexander told krikya360.com.
