The Fitz Tunica Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi - In a battle of undefeated Brooklyn-based fighters,  Sergiy Derevyanchenko (10-0, 8 KOs) stopped Kemahl Russell (10-1, 8 KOs) in five rounds.

Both boxers working a jab in the first round, but it was Russell who was getting off better with his long jab. The fight continued to be close in the second round. Derevyanchenko started targeting the body more often in the third, while Russell was concentrating on head shots.

The pace began to shift in the fourth with both boxers getting more active. Each fighter was landing good, accurate shots. Derevyanchenko was really letting his hands go in the final minute and landing solid shots on the inside. Russell was hitting back, but taking the bulk of the damage.

Derevyanchenko went for the kill in the fifth. He rocked Russell was a hard hook and then battered him with a variety of punches until the referee was forced to jump in and waved off the contest.

Snapping a 14 month layoff due to serious left hand injury, light heavyweight prospect Ahmed Elbiali (15-0, 12 KOs) stopped Jackson Junior (20-9, 18 KOs) in the first round.

They came out winging huge shots from the first bell. A big right hand dropped Junior down to the mat and he barely beat the count. When he got up, Junior appeared to be out on his feet and the referee waved it off.

In his first eight rounder, unbeaten junior welterweight prospect Jamontay Clark (11-0, 7 KOs) stopped Gaku Takahashi (15-7-1, 7 KOs) in seven rounds.

Prior to this fight, last September, Takahashi shocked Kim Poulsen with a two round stoppage, and prior to that he lost an eight round decision to dangerous Adrian Granados. The majority of his career took place in Japan, until he moved himself to the United States in 2014.

Both boxers had some moments in the first round. They were trading punches and each boxer was stunned at least once. Clark took back control in the second, landing hard punches to Takahashi. The rest of the way was controlled by Clark, who was landing more punches and the harder punches. In the fifth round, Clark was trying to go for the stoppage in the final minute, but Takahashi managed to fight him off.

Takahashi rallied hard in the seventh, but many of his punches were blocked, with Clark starting to land very big shots in the final twenty seconds. The fight was stopped at the end of the round by Takahashi's corner.
