James DeGale could head to LA for some quality sparring ahead of his European title fight with Piotr Wilczewski.
Former British champion DeGale is still waiting for a date for his challenge against the Polish champion.
Mid September had been pencilled in for the clash, but it may now take place in October.
And DeGale could prepare with a 10-day trip to America, with Daniel "The Golden Child" Jacobs a potential sparring partner.
"I was going to do some work with Darren Barker ahead of his fight with Sergio Martinez, but it looks like he's going to go away for a camp," said DeGale.
"I've got some options over here, and I could work with Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly, both of whom I have sparred before.
"But I could also go to the States as well, may be for a week or 10 days, and do some sparring out there."
