Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is not confident about a possible junior welterweight unification taking place between champions Amir Khan and Timothy Bradley. Earlier this year, Bradley rejected a lucrative offer from Khan, which the British superstar placed on the table with an even 50-50 split of the UK pay-per-view revenue. Furious over Bradley's rejection, Khan is no longer willing to make the same offer. Without Khan's offer of a 50-50 deal, De La Hoya doesn't see the fight taking place in the near future.

"Amir Khan presented Bradley with a tremendous, tremendous deal, even giving him part of the share from England. Now that the offer is off the table, it's going to be very difficult to make. Hopefully Bradley gets the Pacquiao fight, hopefully he becomes a multi-world champion because he's a talented fighter and I respect him a great deal," De La Hoya told The Desert Sun. “Obviously, if Timothy Bradley wants to fight Khan, we're definitely open. That's the fight he wants, Amir wants and the fans want, so Golden Boy is open to making that fight happen.”
