Echo Arena, Liverpool - British/Commonwealth heavyweight titles David Price (14-0, 12KOs) destroyed Audley Harrison (28-6, 21KOs) in less than two minutes of the first round. Audley was stunned with a right and then finished off against the ropes with a combination that knocked him out cold. Prior to the match, Olympic gold medal winner Audley had said that he would likely end his career if he suffered a non-competitive defeat. It was a one-sided destruction in favor of Price and Audley is not expected to return to the ring.

The fight was an absolute mismatch from the start, Olympic 2008 bronze medal winner Price took the fight to Harrison, possibly the most disgraceful (if not the weakest) super heavyweight gold medalist in Olympic history. It didn't take long before a right hand stunned Audley badly and then Price finished him off against the ropes - punctuated with a deadly right that put Audley out and crashing down. The official time of stoppage, issued by referee Howard John Foster, was 1:22.

In a dull and uneventful fight, Jon-Lewis Dickinson (12-2, 3 KOs) acquired the vacant BBBofC cruiserweight title after twelve rounds of slow action against Shane McPhilbin (8-4, 5 KOs). Dickinson was too cautious but at least he pressed McPhilbin and tried (cautiously and with his arms raisen high) to connect with his jabs and wide left hooks. McPhilbin did little but played possum, mostly on the defensive with very rare bursts of his own. At the end, two judges had it 118-110 - for Dickinson, and the third official was in agreement with BoxingScene on 117-111 - also for a new champion.

A new flyweight star (at least by the British and European standards) was born. Fairly inexperienced Commonwealth 112lb champion Kevin Satchell (9-0, 2 KOs) took another big step up in class in a blistering demolition of the battle-tested veteran Chris Edwards (17-15-4, 4 KOs). Satchell dominated Edwards over six rounds and added his opponent's BBBofC British flyweight title to unify the belts at the domestic level.

Satchell, 24, immediately brought heat to Edwards, cornering him and than battering him hard along the ropes. He looked way bigger (Kevin fought as heavy as a featherweight beforehand) and he was much younger than 36-year old British champion. Edwards didn't have enough foot speed to avoid heated exchanges and he hadn't enough power in his gloves to match Satchell's pressure. The latter was slowly breaking him down for the first four rounds, and he was rewarded for this wise tactics in the fifth stanza. Edwards was down at the end of the round after a hard left hook to the liver. He was also cut over both eyes at this point. Satchell continued his assault after the break and finally put his badly battered opponent down with another body shot in the sixth. Referee Richie Davis saw enough and waved it off at 2:17 of the sixth.

Heavyweight contender Matt Skelton (28-6, 23KOs) stopped Jakov Gospic (11-5, 9KOs) in two rounds. Gospic went down in the second round from what appeared to be a clash of heads, but ruled as a knockdown. Gospic's head was cut from the clash. Gospic went down a second time in the round and the fight was stopped. Skelton is now in the running to fight the Audley Harrison-David Price winner in December.
