Undefeated heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois (4-0, 4 KOs) is open to the idea of helping Wladimir Klitschko prepare for a rematch with IBF, WBA, IBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.

Back in April, before a crowd of 90,000 fans at Wembley, Joshua got up off the floor in the sixth round to secure a stoppage win over Klitschko to unify the three heavyweight belts.

Dubois, like Joshua, could have went to the Olympics to pursue a gold medal, but turned down the opportunity to be part of the 2016 Rio team. Instead, he turned pro and signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren.

Dubois' name began ringing out heavily a year ago, when reports began to circulate that he did a real number on Joshua during a sparring session. Some have said that he badly hurt Joshua and put him down.

Joshua has not exactly denied the incident, but he refused to discuss the details of what took place - explaining that he doesn't kiss and tell when it comes to sparring sessions. Dubois has reportedly confirmed that he put Joshua down, but doesn't like to talk about what happened.

Joshua's rematch with Klitschko may potentially take place on November 11, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Dubois is scheduled to face AJ Carter for the Southern Area title at the Copper Box Arena in London on September 16.

Dubois' trainer, Martin Bowers, said to The Sun - “If Klitschko called us up we’d go and spar with him. To go and get that experience and keep working with top-grade fighters is what it’s all about. Joshua or Klitschko? whoever phones first, we go.”

Joshua - who was once used as a sparring partner by Klitschko - won the world IBF heavyweight title in just his 16th professional bout, knocking out undefeated Charles Martin in the second round last April.

Dubois believes that he can get to a world title even quicker.

“It certainly seems possible to get there quicker than him the way I’m going," Dubois said.
