Cuban super featherweight Alexei Collado (18-1, 16 KOs) continues his training schedule in Deerfield Beach in Florida, even when he doesn't have an assurance that Roberto Marroquin (24-3-1, 17 KOs) will accept a fight with him on November 21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

"I keep training and not lowering the rate. I want to get in great physical condition for Marroquin. Last time, I was advised three weeks prior to fighting Robert. We accepted fight, but at the last minute they decided not to take the fight," Collado said.

"I hope that this time the fight takes place. He and I have had enough time to do a proper training camp. We will continue here in the gym to wait for the response of Marroquin's team. It will be a very good fight. Marroquin and I know that we'll give the best of each other that night, so boxing fans can see an exciting fight. "

Collado lost a close ten round unanimous decision to Rod Salka on April 18 in Pennsylvania.

"I overcame that loss, we gave away many advantages to Salka in my first fight as a super featherweight. That fight was out of my weight class but now we are more stable in this division and go for another win."

Henry Rivalta, advisor Collado, said: "We are trying to get the fight against Marroquin in Tulsa on November 21. I believe that in the coming days they will give us an answer to officially announce the fight is done. "
