According to promoter Vladimir Hryunov, a fight between WBA #1 rated super middleweight Stanislav Kashtanov (31-1, 17 KOs) from Ukraine and WBA #2 rated Russian Fedor Chudinov (11-0, 8 KOs) for Kashtanov’s WBA Interim title can take place in Monaco in a co-promotion with Rodney Berman of the Golden Gloves in October.

Both parties should come to the mutual agreement – otherwise a purse bid will be held to define the host promoter of the fight. Negotiations are presently right under way.

“We are currently negotiating with promoter Rodney Berman," said Hryunov to Allboxing.ru. “WBA Interim fight between Chudinov and Kashtanov can take place in the second half of October in Monaco."

If agreed upon, the fight will most probably land the same card with the WBA/IBO strawweight title bout between champion Hekkie Budler and challenger Xiong Zhao Zhong, a bout for a vacant IBF bantamweight strap between Randy Caballero and ex-champion Stuart Hall, WBC Silver middleweight title defense by Martin Murray against Italian Domenico Spada, and finally a bout between undefeated light heavyweights Ryno Liebenberg and Eleider Alvarez. WBA “regular” in this weight class is Carl Froch, with Andre Ward being the WBA Super champion.
