MORE LIVE RESULTS TO COME................

Portsmouth’s Lucas Ballingall (5-0-0, 1KO) chalks up another win in the paid ranks with a comprehensive 40-34 four round points win over Harvey Hemsley (3-32-1, 2KOs).

Fresh-faced Ballingall, 20, demonstrated flash combinations and hurt Hemsley with a left hook upstairs in the first round.

He followed up by landing some crisp uppercuts that staggered Hemsley in the third and again had his opponent in trouble in the fourth with a swift left to the body to left hook attack.

Hemsley looked to clinch in the final exchanges to buy himself time and was able to see out the super featherweight contest.

Super middleweight Joe Jackson Brown (3-0-0, 2KOs) chalks up his first win of 2017 with a four round 40-36 points win over Vaidas Balciauskas (3-9-0, 2KOs).

Brown, from Oxfordshire, backed up his Lithuanian opponent onto the ropes in the second round and rarely looked in trouble he controlled the pace off his jab.

All of Balciauskas’ losses have come in the UK and he was content to focus his gameplan on launching wide left hooks in the hope of catching the Banbury man off guard.

The 24-year-old Brit maintained his defensive composure and saw the fight out as a comfortable winner.

Kent’s Jordan Dennis (1-0-0, 1KO) gets the non-televised undercard action underway with a four round 40-36 points win over Kieron Gray (8-57-2, 1KO).

The 25-year-old Steve Goodwin managed middleweight controlled the fight throughout, being the first to the punch and landed some meaty body shots in the opening rounds.

Gray, 39, boasts a wealth of experience and was happy to keep a tight guard and his opponent pressed forward, only occasionally showing any attacking ambition.

Dennis stepped on the gas in the fourth and final round and landed a flush left hook but Gray was able to survive to hear the final bell.
