Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Top junior middleweight contender Jermall Charlo (19-0, 15KOs) beat down Norberto Gonzalez (20-5, 13KOs) for a TKO victory in the seventh round. Charlo dominated the majority of the action. He lost a point in the fourth for a low blow, but picked up a 10-8 round in the fifth when he dropped Gonzalez hard with a big right hand. Charlo then pounded on him with big punches in the sixth and during the seventh Gonzalez's corner had seen enough and threw the towel in.

In a battle of undefeated junior middleweight contenders, Julian Williams (17-0-1, 10KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Puerto Rico's Eliezer Gonzalez (14-1, 9KOs). All three judges had it 80-72. Williams outboxed his opponent and stunned him several times, but he was never able to put enough punches together to put Gonzalez away.

Hot welterweight prospect Errol Spence (14-0, 11KOs) scored a two round stoppage of Noe Bolanos (24-11-1, 16KOs). Bonanos was unable to come out for the third round, citing a left hand injury.

Welterweight contender Josesito Lopez (33-6, 19KOs) stayed busy with an easy eight round unanimous decision over Rafael Cobos (15-5-5, 3KOs). Lopez outworked and outboxed Cobos in a fight with very little fireworks. The scores were 80-72.

Lightweight prospect Jamel Herring (9-0, 6KOs) crushed Luis Pelayo (11-5, 7KOs) in two easy rounds.

In a cruiserweight contest - Jordan Shimmell (17-0, 14KOs) became the first fighter to stop the usually durable Joell Godfrey (17-12-1, 6KOs). Godfrey lost two points in the fifth for low blows. During the fight, Godrey took a beating and he was a bloody mess. Finally, at 1:17 of the seventh, Godrefy's corner had seen enough and threw in the towel.

Welterweight puncher Prichard Colon (12-0, 10KOs) of Puerto Rico won an eight round unanimous decision over durable fighter Christopher Degollado (11-3, 9KOs) of Mexico. It was the second consecutive fight where Colon went the distance. Colon controlled the action but there was plenty of moments where he either let Degollado off the hook or didn't let his hands go. Degollado lost a point in the seventh for fouling. All three judges scored it 80-71.

Welterweight prospect Bryant Perrella (7-0, 6KOs) took some bumps but hurt and finally put away Victor Fonseca (9-4-1, 7KOs) at 1:33 seconds of the sixth round. Perrella got him in trouble with a combination to the head and then battered him against the ropes until referee Jay Nady stopped the contest. Perrella appeared to have a possible broken nose.
