As previously reported, there will be a night of the heavyweights on the SES promotion July 11 at the GETEC Arena in Magdeburg when Ruslan Chagaev (33-2-1) defends the WBA regular heavyweight title against Francesco Pianeta (31-1-1) in what is also an all-southpaw clash. Both men have also been second best - to put it nicely - against Wladimir Klitschko but it´s still an interesting matchup and can Pianeta finally put it all together we might see a new heavyweight champion.

On the undercard there´s heavyweights only in German champion Michael Wallisch (14-0), Int´l German champion Steffen Kretschmann (19-2), Tom Schwarz (12-0) and also Edmund Gerber (24-2) who like Pianeta is a former Sauerland fighter.
