Canelo Alvarez slowly broke down Caleb Plant by going to the body. 53 of his 117 landed punches were body shots and he landed 40.6% of his power shots. Canelo closed the show landing 9 of 14 power shots, with a knockout in the eleventh round.

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - For the IBF, WBO, WBA, WBC super middleweight world titles, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) became the undisputed champion with a sensational knockout of unbeaten Caleb Plant (21-1, 12 KOs) in the eleventh round.

Canelo unifies the entire super middleweight division in a year's time. He captured the WBC, WBA titles back in December with a dominating decision win over Callum Smith. He then added the WBO titles back in May, when he stopped Billy Joe Saunders in eight rounds after fracturing his orbital bone.

Plant held the last remaining piece of the puzzle, the IBF title, and now Canelo is one of the few undisputed champions in the entire sport.
