ECHO Arena, Liverpool, England –- Super middleweight Callum Smith (19-0, 14 KOs) demolished European super middleweight champion Hadillah Mohoumadi (20-4-1, 15 KOs) the the first of round of their WBC world title eliminator. Smith is now looking at the winner of champion Badou Jack's defense against Lucian Bute later this month.

In the co-feature, super middleweight Rocky Fielding (22-1, 12 KOs), who Smith also knocked out in one, got off the floor in the second round to win a twelve round split decision over Christopher Rebrasse (24-5-3, 6 KOs) to capture the vacant WBC International title. The Scores were 114-113, 114-113 for Fielding, and 115-113 for Rebrasse.

Tom Doran kept hold of the bragging rights as he won a title against an old foe.

The Connahs Quay middleweight was involved in an absolute barnstormer against Dublin’s Luke Keeler, who he beat in Prizefighter last year, live on Sky Sports as part of the undercard to the WBC super middleweight title final eliminator clash against Hadillah Mohoumadi at the ECHO Arena in Liverpool.

Doran and Keeler shared the ring 14 months ago for three rounds –– but their partnership lasted just two stanzas this time around.

A shootout from beginning to end, Keeler, who unfortunately slips to 10-2 (5 KOs), started well, catching the unbeaten Doran with a huge overhand right which sent the Welshman sprawling to the canvas in the opening 30 seconds.

However, it didn’t take long for the 17-0 (7 KOs) Doran to return the favour and floor the Packy Collins-trained Belfast native less than a minute later.

The pair made it to the second round where Doran, who has three stoppage wins between both victories over Keeler, caught his opponent and ensured he wouldn’t win the fight.

Referee Ian John-Lewis called a halt to the showdown after one minute and 37 seconds of the second round, but the beaten man’s corner also threw in the towel.
