WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12KOs) expects the age of Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) to catch up with him in a tough twelve round fight. Bradley plans to stay on top of Marquez for the entire fight and feels the 40-year-old veteran will start to fade in the later rounds. The fight takes place on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
"Marquez is a smart fighter, a good counter-puncher, one of the best counter-punchers in the game. [The longer it goes the better it is for me], he's 40-years-old, his legs will run out. Of course if the fight goes on longer, I will have more energy - especially rounds six, seven or eight. I'm the younger fighter. I keep telling everybody and I told him - if he don't knock me out I'm going to win the fight," Bradley said.
