Johnathon Banks will fight Travis Walker as the co-feature on the Klitschko/Chambers World Heavyweight Championship show. The fights will take place in the 51,000 seat ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Tom Loeffler, managing director of K2 Promotions, officially announced the fight today at the fight week press conference. “We are excited to have Johnathon Banks fighting Travis Walker for the NABF heavyweight championship on this big show. This is a risky and tough fight for both fighters, but the winner will secure the NABF title and move a step closer to a world title shot.”

Banks, 23-1 with 16 KOs, is undefeated since his move to the heavyweight division and rated #12 in the world by the WBC. Walker, 34-3 with 28 KOs, is one of the strongest punchers in the heavyweight division and the only fighter to have dropped Chris Arreola.

Joe Dwyer, president of the NABF, said: “We are happy to have two fighters of this caliber fighting for our title. Whoever wins, will definitely move higher in the world ratings.”

Alexander Ustinov, 19-0 with 15 KOs rated #6 in the WBA world ratings, will also be featured on the show as the first fight of the international television broadcast. Ustinov will face hard punching Ed Mahone, 24-9-2 with 23 KOs, former world title challenger to Vitali Klitschko.
