Promoter Andrzej Wasilewski has confirmed the recent rumors pertaining to his heavyweight, Polish star Arthur Szpilka (17-1, 12 KOs), who in the coming days will sign a contract with powerful adviser Al Haymon.

Haymon, with nearly 140 fighters in his stable, was signing up an army in 2014 and appears to be signing fighters on a near daily basis in 2015.

Szpilka is coming off the biggest win of his career, a clear decision win over former two-division world champion Tomasz Adamek. The Pole's promoter also confirmed that his boxer will begin training under the tutelage of renowned coach Ronnie Shields. Wasilewski is looking to get his boxer an apartment in the Houston, Texas area for the training camps with Shields.

It is possible that Szpilka will return in late March - together with fellow Pole Andrzej Fonfara (26-3, 15 KOs and also signed with Haymon), in a Showtime televised doubleheader.
