Junior welterweight contender Antonio Orozco was scheduled to face Fidel Maldonado tomorrow night as the co-feature on HBO Latino from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Unfortunately, Orozco - who is rated number one by the WBC - has been pulled out of this contest.

His manager, Frank Espinoza told krikya360.com,"(Antonio) passed out this morning so Carlos (Barragan, his trainer) took him to the emergency room. They said his sugar level was a little high. They said it was dehydration."

This episode took place just several hours before the weigh-in.

When asked if the strain of making 140-pounds had gotten to his fighter, Espinoza stated - "I have to find out what the details are, I have to speak with him and how he feels about making the weight. It's too soon to say."

After receiving the call from Barragan, the manager informed Golden Boy Promotions president, Eric Gomez, of the situation and pulled him out of the fight. The featherweight bout between Ronny Rios and Roy Tapia has been bumped up to the HBO Latino broadcast. The main event is the light heavyweight battle between Sullivan Barrera and Vyacheslav Shabranskyy.

"It's a shame because it's the day before the fight but his health is more important and he had a bigger issue to take care off. We had to respond to that," said Espinoza.
