Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has revealed that IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) wants to continue fighting for another ten years.

Next Saturday night, April 29th, before a record crowd of 90,000 at Wembley, Joshua will face the former division ruler - Wladimir Klitschko. The vacant WBA, IBO heavyweight titles will also be at stake. 

Klitschko, 41 years old, ruled the entire division for over ten years - until he suffered a big upset decision loss to Tyson Fury in November of 2015. JKlitschko has been inactive since that defeat and experts are unsure of what the veteran has left in the tank.

If Joshua wins next week, there are a lot of major fights in the future - including unifications against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and WBO champion Joseph Parker. 

"Everything is just on the line on April 29," Hearn told Sky Sports. "AJ talks about having 10 years left in boxing, so part of me doesn't want to rush, but we're rushing into the Klitschko fight. Why not keep going?

"Deontay Wilder will be ringside - that's a natural fight. Joseph Parker is another fight as well. It's all about winning, but he certainly wants to be in the biggest fights possible over the next 10 years."

Hearn refused to confirm whether or not there is a rematch clause in place, but he does admit a second fight was possible if the action lives up to the hype.

"Nothing is guaranteed in boxing," Hearn said. "If there is no value in the rematch, then you won't see it again. If it's a great fight, certainly we can't rule out doing it again."

The fight will be showcased on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. And then both HBO and Showtime will carry the fight in the United States. HBO will have the delayed broadcast and Showtime will have the live showing of the event.
