With a captive audience of more than 8 million followers remaining from Showtime’s boxing days, the network’s “All the Smoke” brand is announcing today a spinoff, “All the Smoke Fight” multi-platform vertical, to jump back into fight coverage.
Performing as a companion to live fights streamed by others, All The Smoke Fight will provide storytelling, interviews, analysis and fight-game coverage, starting Thursday with the Premier Boxing Champions card in Las Vegas headlined by lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis.”
All The Smoke, led by founders and executive producers Matt Barnes and Brian Dailey, will take over the former Showtime Sports and Showtime Boxing accounts on YouTube, A, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
The coverage will include the combat sports talk show, “Morning Kombat,” with hosts Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell, and a continuation of the Showtime series, “Fight Towns,” with Barnes’ “All the Smoke” podcast partner Stephen Jackson hosting the series documenting the nation’s best fight towns, including Miami this week.
“At Showtime, we developed the ecosystem and the formula to cement our position as a leader in combat sports,” Dailey said in a news release. “All The Smoke Fight is an extension of that legacy, and we will carry the stewardship and respect we’ve earned for combat sports forward, partnering with the biggest names and promotional companies in the game.”
