Nicaraguan boxer Jose Alfaro (27-8-1, 23 KOs) is embracing the tough challenge ahead, training very hard in camp and looking to get himself back in position to capture a world championship. The hard punching boxer is traveling over to Moscow for a scheduled fight on October 24th against rising Russian contender Eduard Troyanovsky (18-0, 15 KOs). Alfaro is looking to start very fast from the opening bell, throwing rapid combinations to break down the undefeated fighter before the distance.

"The preparation that I've had has been excellent and I think I can beat that Russian fighter and get myself the Intercontinental title of the WBO. He's a strong opponent, who has a good punch, but we'll see if he can withstand my aggressive pace. During my career, I've had different experiences, victories and defeats and I will not make the same mistakes," Alfaro said.
