Alejandro Sanabria (29-1, 22KOs) is confident that he'll defeat dangerous puncher John Molina (23-1, 19KOs) on December 3rd in Mexico City, as both boxers battle for the vacant WBC silver lightweight title. Sanabria-Molina is the scheduled co-feature to Jhonny Gonzalez's defense of the WBC featherweight title against Panamanian Roinet Caballero. The event will be carried by Televisa.
During his recent fights, Sanabria picked up big wins over Rocky Juarez and Alejandro Barrera, and now he wants to add Molina to that list. Molina knocked out his last five opponents, including the very tough Hanky Lundy.
"I am very excited to fight for this important title, because it's a prelude to a world championship. I'm doing a lot of preparations for this fight. I have never lost a title fight and this [fight] will be no exception. I coming in there with a lot of motivation and I want to thank my promoter for having the confidence to give me this opportunity. I will not disappoint them," said Sanabria.
